Charlie helps make land use change possible by creating partnerships between private landowners and other organisations. She specialises in natural capital markets and securing and delivering grants for landscape-scale nature restoration. She advises investors in nature-based solutions and buyers of ecosystem services on their responsibilities to communities and on monitoring and reporting of ecological, environmental and social indicators.

She also supports her clients in the validation and verification of Woodland Carbon and Peatland Code projects.

Charlie also worked with Scottish Land Commission on the role of land management to provide sustainable economic outcomes for Scotland’s rural communities.
